Need some help please...
Wazzup fellas?? I have 01' TL and had a few wheels put on and now I want to go with the Axis Supermesh 18 x 8 +45 offset. I see that some folks had 19" Axis mods on their rides w/comptech drop with no problem, so should I have any problem with 18" w/comptech drop? Thanks!

Hey CBS, I remember you from the TL board.
18x8 +45 is a little too low an offset. I'm at 18x8 +50 and they just clear the fender lip. They will rub on a Comptech drop. You will definitely have to trim the bumper tabs in the back. Make sure you find a set of 225 series tires that are narrow. I know it sounds weird, but some tires are actually wider than others even though they are all 225 series.

I have 19x8 rims with a 45mm offset. I don't rub at all.
NSXNEXT is right. Comptech Springs on the stock shocks won't cut it. You have to roll and trim the fenders or get stiffer shocks. Take your pick.
Check out my combo in my sig.
