I need rims for my 01 cls asap. How much money should i be prepared for spending if im looking at getting some hot shit. Still not sure if i should go w/ 18s or 19s.


I live in NY so theres a shitload of potholes.

 

First, unless your stock ones are all twisted, you don't need them that badly and should wait. You don't need them going into the winter. Wait til March to buy them.

Secondly, if you're in NY, I'd go with 18's. I bent 2 wheels due to the City streets and Jersey potholes. If you go with 19's, although the ones with a nice lip looks great, they are easy to bend.

I would get 18's and look to spend anywhere from $1400 to $2000 depending on the wheels. It could be more than that. Also, a lot of guys tend to get rid of their wheels around this time of year so they don't have to stock them for 6 months. Check out the Blackmarket in the Off Topic section.
