This is a definitely an odd occurrence. I haven't been selling B&G for years but I have been selling their product for a while and they have had rave reviews on other forums. It is a possibility too that the mechanic didn't tighten down the bolt on the fork. The weight of the car would then be on that tab.

And KYB makes the shocks for B&G (of course to the specs B&G wants since they set up the shocks for lowering springs) so the quality is definitely there.

co-sign. KYB is notorious for over pressuring and incorrect valving. I remember back in the day they were known as Kill Your Back struts.

I blew three KYB struts in one month, all on brand new OEM Honda springs back when I had my Prelude. I just got sick and tired of the warranty process that after the third strut I gave up. I sold the car a few weeks later.

I also picked it up becouse the drop is perfect for where I drive and didnt not need a camber kit my alignment was perfect after the instalation and the car handles GREAT and the ride feels stock . A few other people bought the same suspention for there cars and all are 100% happy with there product.
Any company can make a product with 1 bad weld do u think a comptech product never had a bad weld?
Before u go saing I cheaped out on my suspention do some research!
by cheap out on i meant you dont play around with suspension, its not something u take risks on, i wasnt necessarily talking price. Its funny tho because u were mocking them how they "SAY" you were the "ONLY" one this happened to, but whos gonna admit that a shock blows up three times a week right? Theyre lifetime warranty is for the part, unfortunetely YOU dont have a life time warranty for yourself, so if theyre replaceable parts blow up while your going at highway speeds, i doubt this situation would have ended up the same. But im sure your gonna tell us one more time how they have a lifetime warrenty and how u wrk at tha dlr

Im sorry I skimmped on the price of my suspention..

I dont find a reason to put $1000 coilovers on a 9 year old car the might need a $4000 transmission and any givin moment..
I had the car 9 years and instead of selling it a few months back i figured I would throw some money in it and drive it anouther year or so untill the economy gets better and I start making money again, So yeah i guess I did o cheap..Right? I install everything in my car buy myself with help of techs cuz im cheap, And Like i said before a 9 year ould car with 160K miles thats on its 3rd transmission does not require a $1000 suspention in my book, I think I made great decision on the setup it handles GREAT and the Ride is FORGIVING like the ride was stock..

And yes if this happen AGAIN I would make sure to let everyone know, Like I said b4 someone can do a bad weld even the best companies out there had weak welds!

Wow, Thats crazy. Thats part of the reason we really limit what we sell. I'd hate myself if I had a customer break a part and have an accident!

I've never heard of these. Are they supposed to be good?

When i was looking for new shocks they wanted like $80 each for OEM, and tockio blues were almost the same but some people said they sucked and my friend had B&G springs on his BMW and loved them so i checked out the site and saw they made a kit shocks and springs kit 4 my car and I was able to find them for $460 shipped 2 me and had lifetime warrenty, so I said why not I always wanted a small drop living in NJ and driving in NYC alot u really cant SLAM the car so 1.6 inches lowere front and rear , cool looks alot better and handle alot better thanks to the kit and the Progress Rear sway bar I ordered from you !!!

For shocks I pretty much stick with Koni exclusively. I will go KYB as well, as they make some high end stuff for OEMs, but only as a replacement part, not as a performance shock.
