Shawn,

I agree these wheels look hot. I don't have them, but I just thought I'd give you my opinion.

From Tim in 18” / 7.5” wide they are listed at:
Silver- 225 ea
Chrome – 309 ea

He has them listed as discontinued/limited stock.
I have an E-Mail into him right now asking about availability.

Just my opinion, but I would not want to buy discontinued/limited stock wheels. What happens if you at some point need to buy a new wheel.

I guess you don't know who Tim is!!
www.autocarparts.com and I think Shawn listed the prices above.

Aegean CL-S - I'd like to see a profile shot of the car too. It looks nice in your pic, but you need a profile shot to get an idea of what it really looks like on the car......

Thanks Aegean CL-S,

I think your picture may have just sold me.
Those are the “polished silver” right?

How are they to clean?
I was wondering with all those black hex heads on there.
Any problems with rubbing on the 18’s with the springs installed?

Thanks,
Shawn S

I Don't have a profile shot of it yet, I will post that up as soon as I take a profile shot of the car, been too lazy. The rims aren't that hard to clean, brake dust rarely get into the rivets. No Rubbing with my current setup.

Shawn S, the are the polished silver.

I think it’s just that Tim ordered a batch of only so many from Japan.
When they’re gone---They’re gone.

He is checking for me right now and said he would get back to me by tomorrow with info.

Hey Shawn....
just my opinion here, and im not trying to piss people off..but i dont think i like those wheels on the CL-S. For some reason..any wheel that is "open" like the one you are showing just doesnt seem to fit the CL.
I hope you understand what i mean when i say "open" casue i dont know how else to explain it...

Personally...i would rather see you go with a wheel either closer to the look of the 01 CL-S or something else completely different.

I am gonna try to post a pic a wheel that i love....comes made for Lexus only..but i am sure there are many out there just like it ...check it out.
Either way..good luck finding the right wheel and enjoy the long awaited 6 sp CL-S

Lsportline Model IV...

I love this wheel. I don't think they come in a size that will fit our cars. Volk GTN that is.

shawn i realize you want other peoples opinions, but seriuosly....

its really YOU that has to like the rim...

i mean, even the rims i chose, i know for a fact that 80% of the peeps here dont like them..cause their chrome, and blingy..and not lighter than stock..

but in my city, my rims are gonna be the hottest shit, cause in my city nobody has shit like this...(except asto!)

u gotta choose something you like, if you need help with offset fitting etc... http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=61015

thats more than enough help bro.

Most of the opinions that your getting is based on what people see in their own city on a regular basis, there may be some rim styles that they might be tired of..so they will give you a bias opinion..etc

You gotta look at your own city, see what is around there, and build off love for a wheel from what you see.

I’m not looking for opinions to make my FINAL decision.
I’m mainly looking for input from people who know GOOD or BAD things about the wheels I ask about.

A comment like “I think they're GAY” will be ignored.

Comments like:
“I had those and the clear coat chipped after one year”.
or
“ Those are built weak and mine bent after a light hit”.
THOSE kind of things I will take into consideration.

I like the rims you chose, but they're not the ones I want..
You have BLING BLING, I’m just looking for bling bling.

Around my area I am flooded with TL’s & 3-series BMW’s. Not many CL’s around to compare.
I’m lucky if I see one or two every two weeks.
I like it that way.

So far the Giovanna Corsica’s in CHROME are my choice unless I find something else in the next few weeks.
Wheels & tires I’m looking at about 2,200 or so.

Ok, at first when I saw the close-up shot of the wheel, I didnot like it, BUT.... This shot DOES these rims justice. If you could only lower the car another inch all the way around...
