Hi everyone, I would like to know the lug pattern on an 01 Types S. The reason is a friend of mine would like to sell his 19" Lowenhart BR5s off of his 2001 5 Series BMW. He is giving me a really good deal on the rims and almost brand new tires. I would like to purchase them off him but first I would like to make sure if they will fit. I'm 4x4ing right now but plan to get some H-Techs to go with them. Any information would be helpful. Thanks again.

 

offset is wrong as well as the bolt pattern.

 

Bolt pattern is 5x114.3 on the CL/TL

5 series wheels (or any BMW) will not fit. The offset on BMWs are waaay to low to fit our cars.

for 19s, the optimal width and offset is:

19x8 +50 offset.
235/35/19 tires.

 

Thanks for the info guys, I saw a picture of a member's car in this forum that was riding 19" BR5s, I wonder how he made them fit. I believe these wheels are made for cars like MBZ and BMW.

 

the wheels were made for those who wanted them, not just for MBZ/BMW.

 

NSX is right. The bolt pattern on a BMW is probably 5x120 (I think).
