I am running on the Eibach Pro Kit Springs and just got some new 18"x7.5" rims.
To those running this setup, what tires do you use don't rub on un-rolled fenders?

What offset? Im not on Eibachs, but dropped lower then Eibachs on 18x8 48mm with 235/40-18 (the correct tire size BTW) I didnt rub.
With a 7.5" wide wheel, I don't see why you couldnt run as low as a 45mm offset and still not rub.

No, when I had the Legends they were not rolled. They were Yokohama S.Drives. This would be much easier if you tell us the offset.

You wheels are about 1.5mm further out then my old Legends which were 18x8 48mm offset.
The 215/45 tire will be about 4mm taller then the 235/40 tires, so your speedo will read low. Id suggest running the 235/40s and getting the fenders rolled if you need to, but I doubt you would. 1.5mm isn't a whole lot, especially since youre not that low.

I was on Eibachs and running the A-spec 8.5 in wide wheel with Bridgestone RE 050s 225/45-18. Got a "whee" rub on rear if I had 4 in the car, and people in back were large. Other than that, no issues.

215/45 thats that means 45% of 215mm is the tire height (96,75mm)
235/40 same math - 40% of 235mm is (94mm) about the same as above
thats why i suggest 225/40 more sportier look (90mm of height)
235/40 tire is good for many bump patholes road but in your area im sure you'll be fine with 225/40
i choose 235/40 bc i drive alot in NJ/NY area and i already destroyed a set of nice potenzas a while back

Comptech springs + 18x8 wheels 40 offset + no rolled fenders + 235-40-18 tire will rub in the back. Rolling the fenders and dropping the tire to 225-40-18 causes no rubbing at all even on the worst bumps.

Why did you drop down to the 225? I have rolled fenders now and with my 19x8.5 40mm RJs and 235/35 tires I didnt rub, and the wheels Im on now dont rub either (18x8.5 42mm 235/40).

Let me clarify, im getting these:
http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-4
I'm going to get them in the 215/45ZR18 size because their diameter is the same as our stock michelins.
It will be PERFECT

Don't know why, but even with the rolled fenders the 235/40/18 would rub when hitting bigger bumps and dips. Now that I think back, I probably could have rolled the fenders in a little bit more and it should've worked.

For 18's compared to stock 215/50/17:
235/40/18: 0.2% too fast
225/40/18: 1.5% too fast
225/45/18: 2.0% too slow
215/45/18: 0.6% too slow
I'd rather have too slow then too fast so its 225/45/18 or 235/40/18 for me.
215/45/18 might be stretching the tire a little on a 8 inch wide rim.

btw, I had 18x8 with +48 on 225/40/18 tires and I rubbed a little in the back when people sit back there going over large bumps quickly.
