Has anyone used 14" rotors on RL BBK? Will they Fit?
After much searching and several PM's with no replys I am trying to see if 14" rotors from the 09+ 370z nismo will fit the RL calipers? I just started purchasing parts for my RL BBK and if I can go with larger rotors than the 13" I will. I've heard mixed messages and just wanted some clarification. Thanks everyone.

6mt swapped..smart
What size wheels are you running? I know that with my 3rd gen TL 17's, there is no way i'd be able to fit a bigger rotor than the 12.9 that's on there now as the caliper is mm's from the barrel. If your wheel will clear, I don't see why you couldn't just add washers as needed to the adapter to fit a larger rotor

Are the rl calipers made for a 13" rotor? Would you benefit braking wise from larger rotors? Will the caliper/pads have more surface contact or is it same contact patch as 13" but just added weight and maybe looks?
Are you wanting to do this mainly for looks?

For one I highly doubt a 14" rotor will clear behind those wheels.
But most importantly, the bracket was designed specifically with the 13" (12.8" to be exact) 350Z Brembo rotors. You'll have to use a different bracket in order to use the 14" rotor. But with the 14" rotor, the pad surface on the RL calipers will remain the same so you wont be using all of the surface area of those rotors. And you are also increasing rotating mass by going with the 14" rotor.

Are you measuring just the 14" of the rotor or are you taking into account the extra space needed for the caliper + a few millimeters?

Well my plan was to take the cut out from Rotoras website for their 14" BBK and the measurements from NVA-AV6 I was gonna make a final assessment. So I could very well be wrong but I've seen on 15.1" BBK fit on 17" te-37's on a s2k forum. When I get home ill post the link.

Here's the link http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/6820...ith-advan-rzs/
And another but 18" te-37
Im pretty sure it can be done but it is for sure going to be a tight fit. This is actually what I am trying to achieve... I wan't my brakes to fill up as much of my wheel as possible.
If all else fails I will go with the 13" rotors. But maybe I can pull it off
