Fuzion ZRi road noise and wear?
Can anyone share their opinions of roadnoise and wear of the Fuzion ZRi vs stock Michelins?
I'm also considering the 235/45R17 size. Any problems with the stock 01 CL-S wheel? Like bulging at the sides, tire leak (seeing as it's a 7" wide rim) or cornering deformation? Thanks for your help!

don't really know about noise. treadware rating is 360. Seems that they are too new yet to get any real feedback on them.
i was considering getting them myself, went to a tire place to look at them in person. overall they are pretty nice, good tread pattern and cheap, but for some reason i just did not like the sidewall. not really sure why, just looked funny to me, no real shape to it. but if you like it, seems like a good tire for the money.

Thanks for the input Rock2534. The trouble with treadwear rating is it's so inconsistent between manufacturers, stupid but too bad for us. What tire did you go with then?
Any other ppl with first hand experience? At times I think of it as too good to be true (cheap yet good tire)....

i ordered the kumho asx last week. they seemed like a good compromise. ideally i would have gotten the pirelli p zero nero's, but right now i have much more important things to spend money on so i just wanted to get a good tire for a good price. the Kumho's were only $90 for 225/45/17. I previously had yokohama avs es100, they only lasted 2 summers, but handled great.

I have the Fuzion Zri's in size 215/50/17 mounted on ASA AR1's. The tires are great for the price. The treadwear is pretty good, although i dont dive that agressive all the time. I put about 5,000 miles on them and they have tons of life left. The ride IMO is better that stock and they hold dam good in hard cornering. Road noise is not an issue. I think they are great and can't wait for winter to end so I can put them back on. The one think I dont like is that they looked kind of burly or off-roadish when they were new but it's not bad now. Maybe i just need to put some springs springs on.
Everyone else says they look great. Anyway if you have any specific ?ions let me know. Hope that helps

I have 7K on 235/45-17"s. I took off the Michelins and put on ContiExtremeContacts by Continental because of all the rave reviews. I had trouble with them from day 1. The local tire dealer and Continental did me right, finally. I replaced the ContiExtremeContacts with the Fuzion's. I drive about 75 miles a day to and from work, 50/50 city/interstate. These tires handle very well wet or dry and there is no notice of wear.

TampaBayCLS, do you have yours on stock or other rims? To my understanding, the 235s are beyond the recommended 7" wide rim. If you have it on the stock rim, any problems with that like bad seating of the bead, or excessive bulge out the sides?
Thanks to everyone's input!

i had a set on an eclipse turbo and got great traction, and wear out of them. put about 18k of aggressive driving, including about 20 passes at the local track and still had about 70% tire left
