Yeah, I've actually been real busy with some other stuff, but in between I found time to scuff the wheels with a scuff pad (equivelint of 800 grit) to prepare the wheel to accept the marker and clear coming after. Its a real bitch on the rag to get into all the crevises and crannies. So I got one 19" face and one 20" face completely drawn in. I just have to touch up some of the black areas around the rivets. Two more to go. Keep in mind, I still have to clearcoat them and that will bring out the shine so much and darken the blacks.

If its an order, I would do the wheels within 2 weeks. Not something we would stock at all, more like a complete one off set per the customer's request, I can do any design you like, even put words and specific style tribals, whatever you desire.

So it looks like the wheels are almost done, i'll be dropping off two chrome 19" lips on monday and picking them up assembled on tuesday. Then the tires. by then, the snow will be melted. My assembly shop shot these and emailed them to me. These have the rivets and clearcoat, but the mini-badge emblem and centercap still have to be dropped in.

when I get them on my car, I'll post pics and edit the color your you to SSM. I'm working on an Inspyre wheel with a similar design on the sides of the spokes.

So these wheels totally bring my car back, I turned more heads than ever in one day. Crazy the attention I get with these. People double take and then when I explain that I drew on them with a sharpie, they flip out. I have to now 2 tone the car anthracite top with black below the beltline and a red/orange seam. On top of the anthracite, I'll be doing the sharpie design to the next level.
Streetka, got pics of your car with the servos? ride smooth huh. Nice seeing you today.

And now I present the sickest wheel this side of the universe!!!

I just died and went to CL Heaven....

Aww....LOVE IT

I can't believe you drew on those rims with a sharpie.

Your "two-tone" idea sounds sick too!

I hope you do it.

thanks, I can't believe it either. Alot of preparation went into them, and alot of planning before committing. Next wheel I do with have even more of a unique design. I already started messing with an Inspyre wheel. I can't wait to start on the actual car's paint now!

That's awesome!

It's like those wheels totally inspired your CL now!

Very cool.

And seriously...I think your CL is going to look so sick with that overall look.

Uhh..... holy crap!!!! Insane! I love it. A new style of rim design has just been born. On a car like mine no less. This car needs to be in a magazine already...

Damn that design is just wild. You need a way to like mass-produce this technique so some customers can rock out with that. Like ME !!!!

^ Yeah...too bad you can't devise a way to print these on the face of the wheel so the lines are super sharp.

what a day, I woke up this morning to a flat tire on the front passenger side. I was so pissed. Turns out there was an air leak on the silicone seal, could have been from tire mounting or something. Anyhow, Its resealed and the wheel is going on tomorrow. Can't wait to drive her around too, lol.

I could do a vinyl decal or something to put down for mass production, but I'm not sure how long it would last. I'll look into it.

Gonna look nice with the drop StreetKa. Told you they were in perfect condition, only 3 weeks of use, def, a good deal, lol.

Right now I'm working on a theme for the whole car, It's hard to decide, but I'll post my ideas in a new thread in the photo gallery.
