UNFORTUNATELY
I believe the problem is going to be with the centerbore. The centerbore is what allows the wheel center to fit around the hub. The 05 STI appears to be around 56 mm. The CL/TL is 70.1 which means you would need it have the centers bored out to 71 mm. A good machien shop could do it, but it will cost you some cash.

that sucks, wow, wasn't expecting that. are you sure? could that bore effect the strength of the wheel at all?

It has nothing to do with the strength of the wheel. It simply won't fit over the hub on your wheel.

Have you ever removed your wheels? Remember seeing a gold colored cap in the center of the brake rotor? That's the hub. It's ~70 mm in diameter. If you try to put a wheel on that has a center bore less than 70 mm it won't sit properly on the hub.

i thought the CL/TL was 64mm like most late model hondas
the legend, front of NSX, and front of S2k were 70mm

plus are they SPECIFIALLY for the STi, and not for any other car?
you would think that Rota would make them like 74mm like most aftermarket wheels and use a hubcentric ring?

actually the rotas probably have too small of a center bore, i couldn't find any exact numbers, but you should probably check that out.

um yeah i have no idea if they are made just for sti's, that came off an ebay listing, and i cant even find (the D2 )them on rotas website...... but i would doubt it, rota makes rims for all kinds of hondas and acuras. damn i love those rims, but i dont want to have anything bored out just to fit them.....figures just my luck.
any other options?
