Dropping the CL

Dropping the CL

I am new to modifying my vehicles, my past cars where suvs and all i did was rims and systems, but i wanna drop the 01 cls, any suggestions on how much to drop and what i need to buy or get to drop it that much???

you should do a search or check other people's threads. this topic has been covered a lot here. i say this because there are a ton of different things you can do to your car. it depends on how much you want to drop it, what kind of ride quality you want and other things like that. you can do shocks or springs (comptech, tein, koni) to lower your car like most people. money is going to play a large roll in what you get. as far as wheels go you can put basically what you want on your car as long as they fit obviously(stock 17's). the 2nd gen cl's dont fit anything bigger than a 19" (without rubbing i mean). Depending on what tires you get the 19's could rub too. our there is a guy here on the forum that sells rims especially made for honda' and acura's. you can check out his website www.ronjonwheels.com

He's right your best option is to search. I just bought H&R sport springs, but haven't installed them yet. Stay away from comptech springs because there just repackaged eibach's and cost more
