does rim offset really matter

Long story short

Looking for winter wheel-set locally on the net and NO ONE knows their offset, nor can I find the numbers.

So... do i need to make sure they are a certain offset or does it really matter, cause I'm not looking for handling.

I guess what I'm asking is....As long as they don't hit the car or anything... does it matter for winters

the offset should be cast on to the wheel on the inside of the spokes or inside lip. the correct offset ensures your not going to rub when you hit bumps or turn the wheel from lock to lock.

I have 35mm offset rims right now on my car and it clears everything just fine.

And i was just told by the seller that his wheels are 35mm offset also. And the tires are 5mm smaller so it has to work.

Maybe I'm fine cause I am not lowered.

With 35mm offset the tires are FLUSH on the outside of the fenders... which I LOVE...

wide stance looks good.. and I can't see that hurt handling really.

K so if i ever lower my car I better watch the F out then eh???

Should be fine ... just dont get them too wide. On the snow - the Wider tire = the lesser traction

500 Canadian... cash.. that a good deal?

Considering the tires and rims were used for one winter, came off an IS 250?

make sure they're the right bolt pattern. Seems like a good deal.

PS, lower your car.
