Continental ContiExtremeContact - Good Choice?

My tires are bald. These look good and have had good reviews. What do you think or do you have other good choices?

Rain in San Francisco can be bad, only drive in snow once or twice per year.

yokohama is not in teh same category as the Conti, Falken and Sumitomo

it's like a performance touring all season vs. ultra high performance all season

but it give a gd trendwear

I have the Contiextremes in 225/40/18. I got a crazy good deal from my buddy at Discount Tire, so from a cost perspective they were a great choice. As far as the tire goes, I'm really happy with them. Quite, good treadwear so far, and good in the wet ( as wet as it gets here in SoCal). I think they are a good choice. I wouldnt track them, but if you're going to just be driving and want good dry and wet handling, I would recommend them.

I have these on my 2000 eclipse and they're not bad at all but of course, don't be expecting these to perform like high performance tires. They do howl when slighly pushed but for the daily driver, they're very good. Good in wet, good in snow, and good tread wear. I"d buy them again.
