.so i can enevr get it straiight as to whats need for a suspension alteration. i have read about both coilovers and srpings, andhave decided on coilovers for their multi ride height capabilities. so
if i was to get a "Tein Basic Coilover Damper Kit Acura CL V6 2-Dr 3.2L 2001-UP" and install it and get an alignment is that all i need to get my car dropped? i have an 01 type s all stock. -do i need camber kits or control arm or sway bars if i dont have rims??

sub questions, i believe if i read correct the basics allow you to lower it 3.3 inches in front and 2.5 inches in back. is that right?

you won't know if you need a camber kit until you have the coilovers installed and set at the ride height that you like. i didn't need a camber kit for mine because i wanted a little neg. camber, others have needed it though.

 

but camber will result in uneven wear to the tires...

usually people who are dropped on springs need the rear.. but o1s is right..

yes, your description of neg. camber is correct. i like it for the handling. when i had stock camber settings, my car oversteered around corners. with just the -1 degree of camber it has helped correct most of it. there is still a little oversteer but i kind of like it.
