CL Tein Basic Users Answer This
Like the title says I would like the CL/Tein Basic owners to please answer these questions:
1. Do you regret spending that much money on them along with the cost of installation.
2. If you had to do it over again would you get the same thing.
3. Is the ride too rough with Tein's.
4. How long do you suppose they will last under normal driving conditions.
My shocks are blown on my 01' CLS and it's time to get something fast or get another ride. Everyone talks about Teins like they are the best out there but expensive so that's why I ask. Thanks to anyone who has time to chime in.

the only reason i see anyone ever adjusting their suspension unless they live here (canada-winter)
but if you do want your car super low, coilovers is the only proper way to do it (or sleeves i guess)

1, no because if i sell the car I have the original spring mounted on strut and all i do is spend 2 hours swaping them for a stock looking car.
2, i like to take corners fast and IDEALLY the cl is not the car for this so if you are looking for the best bang for buck then this suspention is the one. Just be wairy of high speed turnes with uneven roads.
3, depending on hight. if they are set to the one finger gap in the front on stock 21550r17 tires then they bottom out a bit too hard.
4, depends on the streets... I comute to T.O. every day.

2. yes
3. the ride is pretty damn close to stock.
4. mine have over 100k miles on them and are still holding up.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to reply. I think I'm going to get the Eibach Pro System from Excelerate. It's hard to justify spending over a grand for coilovers and installation. Lord knows I need to get something fast though. I'll post pics with everything installed.
