BBK fitment question.....

My current wheel has a +45 offset/ 8.5" width (lipped). Is it possible to fit a BBk on this rim with the proper spacer safely?

What's up Dee. It really also depends on how the wheel spokes flare, for example if they flare in then there's a chance it might not fit. I would recommend going to Jae's shop and test fitting your wheel onto his TL with BBK. This way, you'll know for sure. He also has a set of 5mm spacers handy in case you wanted to try that out as well.

Good luck!
Andy

should be fine with whatever spacer you need... might be 5mm, might be 10mm.. not like its going to be a 4" spacer.

OK cool, I was really concerned about the front wheels sticking out too much from the body. Thanks

eh u can run 8.5 +30 with a few fender modifications so no worries.

but tire size plays a big roll as well... but i believe u won't need more than 10, 5mm should do it but i can't say its a definite answer.

Yeah, I'm open to the fender mod. Tires are 235/30 series rubber.

should be minor so i say you just put the minimum spacer needed then worry about fender mods.

What BBK you running? I had a problem fitting my 19x8 w/ 38 offset wheel over my rotora 2-piece BBK, and had to get an H&R 5mm spacer........

I'm looking at a Wilwood set up or 1 piece rotora. Was it the 2 piece rotor hat that made it difficult?

the 2piece rotor shouldn't make it any different, the caliper location is still the same. i'm sure the 1piece and 2piece kit have the same hardware except the rotors.
