Blown strut - deciding to replace with a kit, please advise

My left front strut has blown, and considering the car has 85K on it, I want to get a suspension KIT instead of piecemeal. I hate the stock feel, and would like the following:

1. A complete kit, no piecemeal stuff

2. Conservative drop, nothing radical

3. Not an all out race suspension, but an improvement over stock.

Can anyone suggest a kit?

the FAQ section has pictures of different springs with thier drop. you can do a search to find out what struts people are using and thier characteristics. id recommend coilovers but tein is very close to stock feel and ksports are pretty damn stiff from what ive heard.

I know you said no piece meal but I would recommend TOKICO HP shocks with the Tanabe NF210 springs. It fits what you're looking for. It will be a modest drop (1" F and about 0.5" R), improve handling while not sacrificing ride comfort. If you want a little more of a drop get TEIN High Techs which are 1.2" F&R. This will be a set lowering though; if you want something adjustable then get TEIN Basics. However, they will be a little firmer than the above setups.

I can do the Tanabe/TOKICO package for $505 shipped and the Tanabe/TEIN package for $520 shipped.

That works. Sorry, I'm new here and it's nice some of the SV's are actively monitoring the forums. If there is a winning combo thats known to work I'm all for it. Thanks, I'll likely shoot you an email in a few days.

I just got Tokico Shocks/lowering springs off ebay and the package didn't come with any hardware--just 4 shocks and 4 springs. Do I need any other parts or will the shocks/springs fit all OE fittings. I'm thinking primarily about the plate that the springs mount up to in the front....anybody have advice?
