BFG KDW2 wider then usual
Anyone here have expereince with the BFG KDW2 tires? I just replaced my Kumho 712's on the rear with the BFG's in the same 235/40/28 size and the BFG seem wider then the the Kumhos. I now have rubbing in the rear (1.5indrop) where i didn't before.
Anyone else notice this? Before i swap my fronts out, should i consider getting 225/45 or a 225/40? I know the 225/45 would be closer to rolling stock but is the 45 make the tires look thicker then the 40's?
thanks

Actually 225/40/18 is closer to stock. Check out this little tire calculator tool

Yeah, I have them on. The bfg side wall doesn't round in, like the kumho and bridgestone's. Thats why you are probably running into the rubbing issue. Just roll your fenders.
