Best Spring/ Strut combo

I am looking for opinions on a good spring/strut combo for a 03 CL-P auto. I want to keep as close to stock ride quality and get a maximum 2" drop. What do you guys suggest. I'm not racing or really into extreme cornering. This is more for the look and ride quality. Thanks....

Yea, I agree, Tein Basics.......if you get spring/shocks, believe me when I say, that you will want coilovers shortly after that! LOL

Why would I want coilovers after that? I am not looking to be on the ground just a little lower.

Ok so what is a good inexpensive strut to go with the Tiens. I want a good ride. Not bouncy and stiff.

tokico blue and neuspeed race (will drop you right at 2") = if you want to go cheaper than coilover but quality ride and product.

happy medium of soft/stiff.

it will feel more sporty than your cl-p floating shocks

This may sound a bit stupid to experienced members but is it okay to install tiens on stock struts? Or will that result in problems down the road?

It might be a no brainer I'm just cheap :P

If you just want springs/shocks get the Eibach Pro Kit (2.1" F and 1.7" R) and TOKICO HP shocks. They are a great combo and you won't sacrifice ride comfort. They will be slightly firmer than stock but not stiff. Or if you want ride height adjustability get TEIN Basics as ppl had mentioned.

Hey P. diddy, if you had to do it over again would you get Teins instead or there isn't much difference between the two? (Eibach/Teins)
