Bad Tire

Hit a nasty poy hole going about 75 on the highway here in SE MIchigan, now the right front tire (stock Firestone) on my 23,000 mile CLS is bulging. Will Firestone cover this at no cost or will I be out labor, tire & labor? Thanks for any feedback

Chris

They probably wont cover it because you hit a pothole, and that is not covered under workmanship and materials. OE tires only carry the basic warranty. Now when you buy a new tire from a Firestone store....it would be covered when you pay for mounting and balancing, they offer free road hazard which is mount & balance, tire disposa, less % of original cost of tire(depends on how much tread you have left), and tax(based on the purchase price of that tire new), of course.
