Axis Milano's?

Just wondering if the Axis Milano's would fit on 03 CLS. I did look up the size and they are a 19x8.5 which i believe is a little to wide. Just want to hear some experienced input

You need to contact Axis for the offset. It's a bit wide, but if the offset is high enough and you're not dropped too low, it may fit.

I spoke with the guys at Axis. I think the highest that wheel goes for offset is +42 witch will be too low.

Now, is there any chance that they have wheels that are not drilled that you can have custom done to the offset that you need. When I bought the Mod Sevens, it's stamped with an ET35 on the inside. They shave the back down to a 45 and then drill the holes. Maybe if you can get them blank, you can have them shaved to about a 48 and then the lug holes drilled. Maybe it can be done. if you really like the wheels, maybe it's worth asking.

Yeah but the milanos only come 19x8.5" and the Crux come 19x8" Makes a big difffrence. The tech's at Axis tell me the only rims they recomend for our rides are the Crux, Mod seven and Matrix.

the ones boku had were 19x18.5 with a 45 offset. they don't make these any more.

so if you can find a set they will work fine with a 225 tire.

it'll fit, but like i said above, you'll have to roll/shave your fenders.

Nothing difficult if you want your car's value to depreciate

why would your cars value depreciate? its nothing visual or structural. its just excess plastic that pokes into the wheelwell

care to explain?

It's not actually plastic. Look inside your rear wheel. The fronts you dont have to worry about. On the rears you'll see how theres a tab that sticks further in (made of metal). If you decide to trade in your car, they will definitely deduct on trade-in value.

still cant understand why any one would care.

its like putting in new speakers, you can;t really tell unless you look behind the door panels.

so are they gonna deduct from my trade in because i had to cut the doors to get the speakers to fit?

I have a 03 CLS with 19 X 8.5 with 40 offset and 235/35 tires. My car is lowered with a finger gap, the bumber tabs were cut and fenders were rolled. It rubs a tiny bit on hard bumps, but nothing to make me raise the car up a little more. If you are looking for a really aggressive look, then this set up is what you want or higher. Hope this helps!

you my friend are an idiot for buying wheels w/ that low of an offset. Roll your fenders, cut your tabs, and I almost guarantee it'll still be there. Might as well cut up your entire wheel well while you're at it to fit those 18s. :troutslap

+40 w/ cut tabs and rolled fenders is a much lower offset than what I've seen anyone else run, considering stock is like +50 or so.

My wheels are getting polished right now, I'll post pictures when I get them back, hopefully soon!. What sucks is that I had the wheels on for only a couple of weeks, took them off and dropped them off at the shop. THe guy has had them for 3 weeks now and have a feeling he hasnt touched them yet!
