anyone know anything about NEX Coilover systems?

My rear passenger side spring/strut is creaking so she's gotta go.. And that means I should replace both rears. Which is 500CAD with taxes at the dlr roughly.

So I'm thinking coilovers and these NEX ones are a damn good price.

And I don't wanna track my car, I wanna drop it to the highest point of the coilovers which is 1.5 inches and I'm not looking for a seriously stiff ride or to adjust them. I just want better than b4 and a new/ reliable suspension.

Should I grab these?

why would you take it to a dealer? you can just pick up some shocks, either regular or aftermarket performance, and have a good quality shop do it.

I'm on tein coilovers and the ride is great. Rims with low pro tires make the biggest change in ride quality i think. I have no experience with NEX. Have you looked into Form, or Function coilovers? Talk to Touge Tuning. I did my coilovers in my driveway. It's not that bad.

That sucks that last week I sold my OE suspension. Ive not heard anything good or bad about NEX, but I have heard of them.

Swapping the suspension is really easy. Just pull the seats out, jack it up, three bolts on the top hat, one bolt on the control arm and youre done. It takes me about 45 mins per side, but for a first timer expect 1.5hrs to do each side.

Jjashaa on the TL side had them and sold them for a pretty decent price. Ask him about those.

x2 on Function&Form though, roughly the same price and reliable to boot. ALOT of people on AZine run them.

FYI, F2 (function & form) coilovers are the same as the K-sports.

so i talked to my mechanic a few hrs ago and he said that noise is from my sway bar links...

so with any luck I'll just buy the progress sway bar, end links and be better than b4.
