Anyone interested in bilstein/H&R setup?
Not sure where this post would belong, but if this is not in the correct area please move...thanks MODS
Well, it looks like I may be ditching my current set-up for a full coilovers. Just want to see if anyone would be interested in my current set-up.
-Bilstein Sport shocks
-H&R Sport springs (51858)
I paid $746.94 for shocks and springs. I had them installed Early last year and have about 20k miles on them. Would asking $500 be too much?
Thanks,
Eddie

It sits perfect IMO...not slammed but a small gap. The ride is awsome compaired to OEM. It feels tighter around turns and a bit stiffer, but still maintains the luxury ride. The reason on switching to coilovers is because I want to adjust ride height and well as dampening. When I take it to Auto-X I want it to be stiff, but when i'm daily driving I want something intermediate.
Well, This is how it currently sits on this set-up....

I highly doubt you need a camber kit with H&R sports. Not low enough. You can even get away without one with the eibach prokit, which is lower. I really like the H&R sport drop...looking for some 50103s.
OP: If you're looking for stiffness, why not just upgrade your shocks to koni yellows or Tokico illuminas. They have dampening adjustment. 5 settings i think. And when you're on the stiffest setting, you're around 0.8" lower.

Hmm, I've had Illuminas and Yellows and the stiffness setting did not affect the height. Is this something new? However, I do recall that the Koni Yellows had three spring perch heights that you set upon install, but the difference between middle and lower perch was about 1/4" at most. The Illumina has 5 settings of rebound stiffness and the Konis are continuously adjustable/no detents.

Stiffness(dampening/rebound) does not have anything to do with height.... Koni yellows do have teh 3 perch setting but like you said it doesn't do too much.......
