Any possible way?

Hey whats up, right now I have motegi ff7's in a 19x7.5 setup. I found these rims on ebay that are 19x8.5 . They have a +45 offset, is there any possible way they would fit with a comptech drop?

Yeah, if you're willing to roll the fenders a lot. Otherwise no way on a Comptech drop. You'll rub like mad.

for reference, 8.5" wide wheels are too wide regardless of the offset of them. Remember stock ones are 7".

Why would would even buy 19's driving on SI roads?
Rolling the fenders may be enough, & may not be enough. I'm certin with a 45 offset you will rub with weight in the car(people, big sub box etc) How much is the question.

Because the rims are perfect., I bought the ff7s because I couldnt get the ones i wanted but these are sick http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-Bl...QQcmdZViewItem I want them. The roads in SI are bad but I have 19's now and its not bad. Its not that i want wider its just this is the design i want and they dont make 7.5's

I dont know the old car that you had, but I was in Staten Island a couple months ago, and dude, the roads are pretty bad. With a suspension drop, and any other mods, your gonna have a hell of a rough ride in the CL. I was thinkin of some 18's but I just didnt want the hassle with all the big pot holes.

Don't you have to go with 35 series tires if you get 19's???

I know thats right. I just bought some dubs and if I was brave enough to get the 8.5 the aftermarket is huge. Good luck and please post some pics.

Sorry I was at work before and couldn't see the pic on Ebay (filtered). But anyway the only way I personally would buy those is if I also were doing the fender flares. Those rims are going to stick out a whole lot on our car. To each there own I guess. But I bet you love the way your rims tuck inside your car.

I have 19x8's and they fit perfect with no rub. They are also a +45.

I say get em, buy 235/35 tires, and dont roll the fenders, grind the lip off. I dotn see how an extra 1/4" is gonna make them stick outside the fender.
