As it says wich would look better on the stock height, the 40 or 45 tall?

If i do get the 45 would it slow me down?

45 would fill the gap a tiny bit more since your not dropped.

Or you can just get the 40's and drop that puppy a little.

don't have a picture but when I had 18s with no suspension that gap looked weird. I had something like a 5 or 6 finger gap with 225/40/18.

running a 45 series tire "looks funny." The tire is too beefy for the size of the wheel well. A 40 series tire is better, that is unless you are looking for road protection.

Don't get new rims if you aren't going to drop it.

If your not going to drop it then you need 19's or 20's cause with 18's and either tire size your going to have a big gap. So if your going to get aftermarket rims and you want to look good its either one of those options or it will look kinda silly.

stock height looks fine in the rear without a drop, but the front looks Huge without a drop. even a slight drop from TEIN will do the trick. and 235/40/18 is meaty enuf while retaining the 18" size factor. 45 series tend to look like 17".

My tein basics have been really comfortable, and are height adjustable. I kind of wish I had gone w/ the Tein SS so I could adjust stiffness, as these are a bit soft, but *shrugs*
