20x8.5 38et kmc black dime wheels

So, i have been looking for wheels for a while and i am pushing it to the limit. i found these wheels and they are going on monday. already test fitted and will work with negative camber. may rub with stock hight, dunno till monday. these wheels are beautiful in person and pics will be up soon! oh, falken 225/30/20 tires are being mounted. neuspeed race springs and struts hopefully real soon as well. 2.2f, 2.0r drop.

yeah we know, 20s are just wayyyy to huge for our car, 19s all day long but oh no not one more inch. 20s get a negative rep for compact cars, its all on what you drive, now yeah on a 95 accord 20s would look out of place. 19 or 20 is the only way i would go beside stock on a CL

if your asking what size, in his first post he said 225/30 which is insane for an 8.5 inch wide tire

not insane.. a bit on the stretch side... i run 225 on 19 x 8.0... i've seen 215 on 8.5.. now that's insane.. or even 225 on 9.0 or 9.5

would love pictures... esp from the top too see how much it sticks out from fender

225/30 is insane (for daily driving) on an 8.5 wheel. your forgetting the aspect ratio.....225/30 will stretch more than 225/35s. by shortening the sidewall the tread streches more

oh yeah, where are these pictures!!!

your kidding right? i loved the stretched tire look, with the rim sticking out a little but what are you going to run in the front to get the same look? 225s on a 9.5 in the rear, you would probably have to run something like a 205 on an 8 inch wheel which i dont think is even in production for 18,19'' wheel

Hrmmm i really like the wheels, they are money. But it looks like they are sticking out alot and im sure you will have to atleast roll the fenders. You need to get this lowered asap tho cause its a 4x4

im not a fan of black wheels but i am a fan of 20s so i give you props on that note. im glad you put dubs on there, ill be with ya next month i would get coilovers, you might want to look at tein SS or k sports because of how the wheels stick out a little, youll want a pretty firm ride so you dont fuck something up.

that really isn't super aggressive fitment

cl's can accommodate 9.5's out back with low 30 offset with the right stretch and camber and rolling

and 9's up front with high 20 offset with camber and stretch (I've done it)

We actually can accommodate a lot more aggressive fitments than most people think

my car looked exactly like yours before I slammed it....but once you do slam it trust me, the fronts will be actually tucking quite a bit and the rears will still have a half finger to a full finger gap room between the fender lip even if you dont roll your fenders

I'm running 205/40's out back on 9's and 225/40's on 8's up front and have no problem whatsoever once slammed...I actually want to go 9.5's out rear and 9's up front on my next set and roll the shit out of my fenders to get a 240 stance

1st gen fitments are way different then 2nd gens.

why not a 10 out back and a 9 up front?

looks good! this summer i plan on getting 19x8.5's 45 offset. Probly gonna run 225/35 tires. For that width u coulda gotten a deeper lip though! but i like the black/chrome...gonna look great with a drop.

your getting coilovers right!!? because those wheels stick out a little your going to be fucked if you put on ___ springs, put everything back together and find out that its too low. 690 for tein basic coilovers aint shit for what your getting

Because with a Spring/Shock combo.....you CANNOT adjust your ride height. If you put in springs, your car gets 2.5" lower, and your wheels are sticking out of your fenderwells, what are you going to do?? You cant quite raise it back up unless you place the stockies back on!
