19's got me thinking...

A friend of mine wants to sell his rims to me. They are 19" Katana KR-7 (thats what i think they are called. If not then that is what they are called today) purchased back in 03. They have only abou 5k miles on them with Pirreli tires on them.

Chrome, No pitting, Clean, Taken care of.

He wants $700 for them.

As you know im lowered and just recently found out that my fenders are already rolled.

What you guys think?

Meh, they are okay. Speaking from recent experience, the CL looks damn good in something with a lip. 19x8 +45 offset or higher and you are golden

19inches= IMO

Based on the really long internet search that took me about a whole 2 minutes, the offset is a +42.

They will more than likely rub. The lowest I would go with for a 19 is a +45 offset with a 19x8 inch wheel.

yup yup.

19x8 +45 will most def. rub unless you have some crazy stretched tires and are running negative camber.

Wrong, I have never rubbed with a H&R sport drop, and mine are 19x8 +45, and i've had 225's & 235's both 35 series

I even had a hella heavy sub system and it never rubbed in the back

I gotta agree with Joe. The Mod Sevens that I had were 19x8 with a +45 offset and 235 series tires, and never rubbed.

OK, I'm planning on running 19's as well, and I have one wheel picked out, but they only come in 19x8.5, in a +45 offset. I wanna run 225/35's, and lower my car slightly. Will I run into problems? I don't mind rolling or cutting my fenders. Or I found a second wheel style, in 19x8, in a +43 offset?

I really like the 19x8.5's, but I could use some advice!!!
