18x9 (fronts) & 18x10 (rears)

I'm probably going to be picking up a set of Work VS-XX's tomorrow in gold. The fronts are 9 wide and the rears are 10. Not sure about the offset but I'd imagine in the 20's somewhere.

So how much modifications will it take for these to fit? I'm guessing rolled fenders and negative camber in the rear. Will the fronts work without any modifications?

are you dropped at all ?
offset has a big thing to do with fitting them ,
a 9" on the front should be okay with a fender roll , if the offset is 25 up
10 on the rear , alil wide , like i said all depends if you're car is dropped or not.
but on the rear , depending on offset , fender roll & pull maybe .
camber is your best friend when fitting wheels

^Not yet, but I will be dropped on coilovers when I put these wheels on for the summer. So the lower I go, the easier it is to fit a wider wheel? or is it the other way around

my last set of rims work vs-xx 18x9 +28 18x10 +35 215/40/18 225/40/18

rolled rear fender, front/rear camber and rear bumper tab relocate.

^yo diddy i think i got the exact same wheels as you. not sure about the offset #'s though since the sticker on the inside is worn out. but yeah these are so nice.

if you don't mind me asking what were your camber specs? and also where did you relocate your bumper tabs?

265?! won't you need a serious stretch in the rear to fit a 10" wide rim? Diddy was running 225/40/18

^yeah that's the thing. i don't wanna stretch the tire too much, what if my tire were to go flat, there's no rubber to protect the lip of my wheels it'd be destroyed so fast. plus the ride quality would be better. what's the widest anyone's gone for tire size in the rear?

if you're going with a wide rim like a 10" you're going to have to stretch tire, run camber and roll fenders and shave tabs, relocate bumper tabs. That's the game. I rub in the rear and i'm only running 18x8 +35 with no stretched tires, shaved tabs and rolled fenders.

I think someone has done a 10.5 rear.

Hmm tire size not rim width. The reason I'm asking is because the tires in the rear are actually 265/35/18 and the rubber is still fresh. These wheels I bought came off a GS-430, I guess that's why they're so big.

So does 265 stand any chance of fitting? Or should I just go with new rubber. If so, I'm wondering what's the largest tire width I should go on 10 wide wheels with rolled fenders.

Also shave tabs does that mean the lip of the fender that sticks inside the wheel well, like just cut that off so it's straight down? If that makes any sense lol

what are the offsets on the rims? More then likely you'll want the same tire size that diddy was running.

the lip in the wheel well....that's rolling your fenders. They roll that lip up against the inside of the wheel well. There is a bumper tab you'll have to shave down. Tires will rub that first. Or you might have to relocate it. PM diddy.

the difference with that rsx is that its clearly staggered like that for track usage. myself and others arent trying to gain anything. it purely for looks.

as for tire sizes i ran a 225/40 on my 10. that 265 aint going to work so dont waste your time. you can run 235 depending on the tire company. not all tires sizes fit the same. it varies with each company.

If I can run 9's in the rear without having to roll fenders and all that ish, I think I'd rather go with that setup.

You'll have to roll the rear fenders with that setup too, but they'll be easier to fit.

18x9, 18x10's...i say too much work to fit especially if your not quite sure that u wanna roll your fenders to begin with. go with the smaller set. from my experience im tired of rubbing in the rear. im lowered on tein ss about 2" and have 18x8.5 in the rear on a 225/40.

oh yeah and my fenders are rolled and shaved tabs.

Thanks to diddy info, it can be done.

I'm running a 18/9.75 all the way around,
215/40/18 rolled front n back + camber kits and u can pull it off

Ur best bet is to run a 215 anything bigger u might have problems

toe is actually what eats your tires up. as long as you have correct toe. your fine. i have logged plenty of miles with camber.
