hello acura cl members im new to this forum..i just picked up a used 2001 cls two weeks ago with 32K on the motor,5spd auto, tafetta white with stock chromed wheels. I know exactly what kind of wheels im getting b/c im able to get real low prices on ADR wheels (www.adrwheels.com) i have internal hook-ups there OK so my question is.....
18x7.5 adr sokudo 10s +42offset ( i know ideal offset for the CL is 45+)
along with tein basic damper/coilovers. would there be any fitment issues. i.e rubbing of anysort if lowered a just a little OR alot oh yeah the tire size im planning to run is 225/40.. if i get any response it'll be greatly appreciated!!!

I don't know man, I wouldn't get rims w/ +42 offset. +42 is the lowest you should go, you should try to get a little higher, around 50 or so. Stock offset on the 03 rims is +55. Try doing a search.

Don't ADR's also come in +48 offset? When I was looking at some 18" wheels, ADR was close to the top of my list because a lot of them come with +48 offset. If you want to drop and fit, go at least +45 with +48 or 50 being best.

I'm on 17" Mille Miglia EV-R with Tein SS. Pics in the Photo Gallery last week.
I'm holding off on the 18" for now, but I did a bunch of research on them this summer.

Seriously, the Sokudo comes in +48 which is closer to ideal (+50) and WILL NOT RUB! Note that our OEM wheels are +55 mm, so +42 is REALLY way off and if you want to lower your car much, expect some rubbing issues.
The Sokudos come in +48 so I'd do that in a minute, especially with a good price.
