TSX A-spec wheels are essentially the same size as a CLS stock rim so you wouldn't have any fitment issues but you'd still be riding on 17's.
REAL TL A-spec rims are 18x8.5, they also make a sparkle silver rim that looks similar to a A-spec rim but it's 18x8.
Here's a pic of my whip with real 18x8.5 A-specs so you can get a feel for what it will look like.
And just for fun, here's a pic of a TSX sitting on some milk crates that recently had its A-spec wheels stolen

If they are the 18x8.5 than maybe. I run a 235 and I would fender rub in the rear if I went any lower (dropped on Tein SS-P). As the car sits in the picture above I have no rubbing issues. Nightpoison (another member) has the same rims as me but is on Comptech lowering springs. The previous owner of his car tried to run a 235 but the fender rubbed in the rear frequently so he has to run a 225 tire.
Once you have the rims off the car the rim specs can be seen on the inside of the spokes. I'm not sure if the 18x8's would change anything, I think you would still rub if you go to low with a drop unless you went with a 225 width tire. The rims are Enkei's FWIW.

Judging by the wheel gap, I'm pretty sure those are TSX A-specs. I can't quite make out the tire size from the pics but if there 17" then they are TSX A-specs, if they are 18" they are from a TL.

If you run a 225 tire you should be pretty safe unless you want to slam the car to the ground.
I run a 235 tire on the same rim and I am limited to the drop in the pic. If I go any lower I rub in the rear.
I knew this going in as I have a buddy with the same car (year/color/transmission/rims) who is a little lower than me. I made the decision to go with more rubber on the road and a more New England frost heaven road friendly ride height.
If you want to be safe, start looking into the fine art of fender rolling.

They are 16 way adjustable, I have never had them softer than 7 (1 being the softest). IMO 7 is a softer ride than the stock suspension.
No promises being made, but I think your safe. Just keep the radio off for the first day you have them on and listen carefully when you hit a bump if you rub, you'll hear it.

It could mess up your fenders if you hit it hard enough. I destroyed a fender on my old Civic coming into my driveway, which is pretty steep. Had the wheel cut all the way to the right and started coming in, didnt hear anything unusual then an odd pulling, scraping sound. Tire grabbed the fender lip and pulled it out. I was furious.
I have had the rear rub on the CL when someone was in the backseatL, but no damage was done.

Yeah, the 225. I'm running Kuhmo Ecsta STP and I'm happy with them. I'm sure you can find about 50 differing opinions on Azine about what is the best tire. Better grip is usually obtained by sacrificing longevity so you need to figure out how much grip you want and how frequently you are willing to replace tires.

Exactly why I bought the Kuhmos. They had a decent combination of treadwear/temp/traction ratings at a reasonable price. About 130 a pop.

I got mad hook ups from working at an Acura dealer for 4 years. All of the techs are my friends so the prices I pay for this stuff is useless to you (unless you want to feel like your paying too much)
Heres a link to pics of Nightpoisons CLS with 18x8.5 A-specs wrapped in 225's with the comptech lowering springs.

They look sweet. The A-specs I have would look friggin incredible on your car in a sleeper kind of way. They were badly curbed so I had them refinished to a darker tint. I told the guy to make then as close to anthracite as possible.
IMO definitely better than the stock TL wheels you had.
