Exclamation Wiper issues with 03 CL-S

I'm having an issue with my windshield wipers, and haven't found a similar issue from searching....

Whenever I turn on the wiper to the Intermittent, Low, or High speed settings, the wipers will remain on, unless I pull the 30a fuse from the driver side dash panel....

If I use the mist feature, then the wiper will sweep the windshield like normal, and not remain on, however I have to hold down on the switch until its back to the resting position....

What could cause this scenerio? Wiper Relay?, wiper motor issues,? Possible bad switch, however it's physically fine, and functional......???

Thanks for viewing, and hopefully I'll find a fix for this problem!

i'm thinking it may be the switch as well! I'm hoping it is because I have a spare one...I guess I can start with replacing it!

I'm trying to avoid the stealership!

Yeah I had something similar not on my CLS6 but my Land Rover and it was the switch. (The wipers wouldn't return to the rest position when I turned them off unless I held the mist switch down)
