Wiper fluid jets

Of all the things, my wiper jets are clogged. I've taken them off and tried a series of cleaning techniques but they still won't fully function. There is a lot of crap in the lines too. The obvious thing to do would be to go buy new lines and jets - but that's just too easy. Should I just cave?

The '01 & '02 CL's had a TSB that could be related to your problem.

Service Bulletin Num : 01004
NHTSA Item Number: 623220
Summary Description: VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE WIPERS STREAKING OR SMEARING THE WINDSHIELD.

I think the problem was due to the fluid lines degrading. The recommended fix involved replacing the lines and fluid. Maybe your lines degraded and clogged the jets. If that's the case, it's a safety issue that they should fix for you.
Good luck.
