When stopped in drive, car slightly shakes?

So i've had this nuisance for a while. Barely noticable, but still worth asking about. When I'm stopped, say at a stoplight, I can feel the car slightly shaking? It's actually pretty annoying. Anybody else have this problem?

What car? Is it only when the AC is on? Cause all Honda's have compressors that shake the car a bit when the AC is on.

Could also be a bad motor mount.

my car also shudders sometimes when im idling. 01 Cl-S. At the same time there is also an annoying rattle/low speed vibration or shaking/clunking/squeaking coming from under the hood at idle. Sounds like a belt or pulley is loose but I don't know about that cause the car feels fine under load and at speed. the noise seems worse when the AC is on. Is this the idler pulley?

exact same problem as me. I replaced three motor mounts, upper a arm, lower strut car bearings, One axle, and still, my car does it. I replaced all those because the car was shaking at 40 and especially upon acceleration. But at park i press my gas and the rpm drops slowly it drops too low then jumps back up to normal. Theres a clicking noise in park too. Like a ticking noise near the area or the power steering? AC does agitate my noise too.

My noise is coming from the belt area as far as i can tell. Like down toward the bottom of the engine on the side close to the front of the car. I will try and make a recording maybe somebody can identify it for sure. Real annoying and kinda worrysome a bit though.

Could be the IACV. The RPMs might not be stablizing.

Do you have a lot a mileage? Maybe try using some Seafoam and changing the plugs.

my car does a simular thing, when im stopped at red light it seems to do what you explained, except i can really notice it because of my exhaust, the car will be quiet, then humm and shake, then go quiet again, repeating all up until i start moving then its fine.......im taking the car to acura tomorrow for a little check up so i'll let you know if they find anything.

ok so i didnt take it to acura, but i changed the spark plugs and air filter since i just got the car and dont trust anything the guy b4 me did, one of the spark plugs was totally burned out, after changing them there was a BIG difference when i stopped at redlight, the humming and shaking was almost 100% gone.

could be anything
bad motor mounts, a miss/hesitation(ck plugs/wires/timing), or even a clogged iac valve.
Low idle? What's it idling at?

tl's were known to have a bad design in the intake leading up to the iac valve - not sure if CL's could have similar problems

In my old accord it was warped rotors.

No man, thats when comming to a stop. Im talking about the car just being turned on and the steering wheel rattling due to engine vibrations or some other problem.

That's a clogged/dirty idle air control valve (IACV).
