Wheel Studs Broken.. Help anyone?

I used to change my rims often and I guess over time too much overtorque has basically made the studs split in half.

Pretty much I have the wheel, brake pads, and rotor all taken off... where do i go from here? Thanks...

front or rear ?

rear would be easy since you can take the hub out easily, knock the stud out and punch new stud in, re-install everything

front, you'll need a puller for the hub

A shop broke one of my studs off.........our cars have a sealed hub...and you need certain machinery to complete this task.

replace 1 stud + labor = 155.00 at tire kingdom

if you spin the hub and look through the backside there should be a cut out or some kind of gap/hole in the backing plate.line up the stud you wanna remove with that cut out then use a decent sized hammer/mallet and hit it into the hub it should move about 1/4 inch then be free. when installing the new one slid stud in hole. then find a washer or washers that will fit around the stud and use the lug nut to pull the stud into place youll see when the back of the stud is fully inserted. then remove lug nut do the same to any other stud and reinstall wheel. hope this helps. good luck
