Vtec solenoid
Hey everyone. I have a question regarding the Vtec solenoid on the first generation 2.2 cl. The little hose/wire running from the solenoid to a connector seems to be leaking oil when the Vtec is supposed to engage instead of actually engaging (I can't feel the power boost anymore either). Here is a pic of my solenoid and leaking hose (it's the hose connected to the gray connector).

Do I need to replace the solenoid? If not, what do I need to do to resolve my problem and get my Vtec back up and running?? I found a site with the whole assembly for $216 or just the solenoid for $134.

P.S.
I did try using the search feature and reading the noob guide first, but I couldn't find an answer. Also, I'm fairly new to engine work, so take it easy on me please.
