Vibration!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought I had this figured out because I have had this problem before.....long story short, took car to the track, broke driver cv axle, replaced it with AUTOZONE NEW LIFETIME WARRANTY AXLE and car was fine. I noticed that the passenger axle was starting to click on turns so I decided to replace that as well a week later, along with ALL THE BALL JOINTS on driver and passenger side just so I can get it all alligned and be done with it. Now I have a vibration under a load (acceleration). This happened to me a long time ago and it was a cv axle. So I thought a defective passenger axle....returned it and replaced it with another one....same issue. So I returned it and went with another brand from ADVANCE AUTO PARTS....SAME ISSUE. WTF?!!! 3 new cv axles and still shaking!!! So I know it CANT BE THE AXLE. I checked everything 100 times!!! The ONLY thing that is KIND OF SKEPTICAL is when I jack my car up and grab my passenger cv axle there is no movement where it plugs into the wheel hub bearing but there is a SLIGHT movement where it plugs into the half shaft. Im talking maybe 1/32" of movement in all directions. Not sure if thats normal or not.I can tell you though, I can replace a cv axle in 20 min exactly from doing it so many times. Is that a new world record? lol

Hmm...it only vibrates under load? Is it bad? In the steering wheel? Pedal? Both?

How is your wobble/vibration issue? Did you replace your wheel bearings yet? Also, have you ever replaced or checked your engine mounts? I'm curious because I currently have that same wobble/vibration when driving under load/acceleration.

I've experienced what I believe is the same problem as you. However I am at an entirely different ballpark as far as remedy. When I stopped at a red light and proceeded to accelerate on my light, I would feel a sudden jolting feeling like vibrations at around 2nd gear and at sudden increase in RPMs. I was told my timing belt needed to be changed. I have a 2001 Acura cl type-s and it was at 145,000 miles that I replaced the timing belt and just for safe measures draine and refilled my transmission fluid. Right now at about 147,000 miles I haven't experienced the problem again. I hope we're talking about the same vibrations and I hope this helps. Good luck!

I have the same problem as i go through rpms, vibration is not in the seat or steering wheel it's definitely engine related. My timing belt was changed at acura 20,000 miles ago..wonder if its engine mounts or drive belts?

I had a 03 TL-S and it had the shudder from around 50-65 mph under load. If I let off accelerator or mashed on it the vibration would stop. Motor mounts looked like they were fine but when I pulled them out to replace all three motor mounts and both trans mounts were toast. It did not fix the vibration 100% but it made a huge difference. The vibration was barely detectable after new mounts were installed.

I just got the transmission replaced on my CLS and now I have what I believe is the same issue. The car shakes violently under acceleration and sometimes under normal driving. It never did this before the transmission was replaced I'm thinking that maybe they damaged the half shafts when they put in the new transmission . Also a new problem arose after the transmission was replaced in that car now shakes whenever it is in neutral or park . Could this all be related or am I just noticing something that was there before now because of a new transmission?

I'm having the same issue,I installed after market axles from advanced auto and the vibration was really bad, I got a set of oem axles and the vibration was gone for about a week then today my car started this weird clunk in the right front under acceleration everything seems tight the one thing I did notice was where the axle slides into the half shaft there is up and down movement ,is that normal??? Someone please help!!!!!!!!

Autozone and advance axles do not have the vibration damper that oem axles have.

I thought everyone knew this by now. Just go with oem considering a new oem axle is only 150 now. I have no vibrations after replacing both axles and half shaft with new oem.
