Hey all, new guy here, but no strangers to cars. I've been flipping through the page on the site looking for an answer I think I already know, but didn't want to find. I just bought a 99 CL. Sweet car, loaded with features, in great shape. It'd been sitting for about a year before I got it due to reverse acting up. And that's the question. No reverse. It kicks into first just fine, and I haven't had it on the road to know if it hits all the gears, but when these things let go is it common for reverse to let go first. Fluid smells a little burnt, but I've seen much worse. And it's got right around 130k on it.

Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum for this. The trans forum led me to believe it's for the recall stuff.
