i have an 01 cls love it but the tranny is going again. does anyone know of a place in new york or tri-state that does these 3rd gen tranny to 2nd gen car tranny swaps automatic to automatic? mentioned it to two local mechanics they said never heard of it? didnt want to take it on. thanks in advance

 

Mine is acting up I was recommended to a guy who said he would rebuild for $1200 which I thought was very reasonable. I haven't made the decision yet though
