tranny

has anyone ever changed the tranny filter themselves? was it easy? if u took it to the shop how much did it cost?

Here are some instructions you can follow:











Unscrew the old filter. Put some trans fluid on the new filter's rubber gasket, then screw in and tighten the new filter. When installing the filter's steel line, make sure that the O-ring is not damaged or you'll have a leak when you first start your engine. I replaced my O-ring and coated it w/ trans fluid. Start your engine and check for leaks.
