tightening sound when first accelerating after parking

Hey All:

I just picked up my 2001 Acura and there are all these cool new car sounds, my personal fav is when you first turn on the engine and it growls a bit... But I digress...

Anyways I took it to the Acura dealership before the purchase and they checked it over saying everything is good; so I'm assuming it's okay (atleast I tell myself that!) but I'd like to know what it is.

When I first put my car into drive and accelerate for the first time it makes this almost "tightening" sound from the front of the car for a 1/2 second then it doesn't return until I've parked the car and come back later.

What is that? Does the suspension on CL's automatically calibrate or something?

Any ideas? Anybody else have that sound?

The ABS motor runs for a second at 3 mph and again at 12 mph to pressurize the brake lines, a kind of humming or buzzing noise.
