Tensioner recall
New here, 01 CL-s, 38k niles, stock
Would someone give me some information on the tensioner recall?
I had an Interga GSR, which I traded in on the CL. As I recall, there was information in the owner manual regarding rotors and torquing the lug nuts.
It said something about using a manual torque and hand torquing the wheel
lug nuts. Using an air operated inpact wrench on the lug nuts would cause
the brake rotors to warp. I pointed this out to my dealer and they said that
they never heard of this procedure. I never had a rotor problem with my Integra
or my CL. I have always told then to hand torque the wheel lugs. I have never
looked for that information in the CL users manual, maybe I should. I found the same information on the internet. I am not an expert on the subject, just what

On the brakes: I had my rotors resufaced and pads replaced at 22.5K miles... Lots of CL owner have complained about warped rotors...
On the Tensioner recall: Your car should have been done already back in late 2003 by the prior owner... Here's one of the threads from back in Sept. 03 (searching here for Tensioner recall will provide more info):
