Exclamation TCS Control Valve part no. 16810-PGE-A01

I need to locate a used or new TCS Control valve for an 03' CL type-S. Since it's been discontinued by Acura. Any help on locating a part in good condition would be greatly appreciated.

Search car-part.com for 01-03 CL-S; 02-03 TL-S to increase your probability of finding one at a local salvage yard near you.

Would a faulty TCS cause rough idle without generating any fault codes in the computer? My 2002 CL-S stopped idling all of a sudden yesterday without giving me the common courtesy of throwing a code for me to scan

Should also add that my CL-S has 103,000 miles.

The control valve only operates when the VSA system becomes active i.e when the car is moving and doing so in a way that is not intended (spinning of wheels).

I would suspect your Idle Air Contol Valve (IAC) or the EGR system could create some rough idling. they tend to get carbon buildup that prevents the valve from opening/closing freely or obstructed passageways for recirculated gases.
