Sub Installation Quesitons

hi, i have a stock 2001 cl. I am not too familiar with my cars specs and so I wanted to see if i could get any help on the forum. I want to install subs and an amp. I want to know if my bose system-6 in dash cd player can be connected to the subs.

I have friends that know how to install subs and everything but i am wondering if i have a stock amp i need to find. if so where would it be located?

Would i need a hi to low converter to connect my subs to my stock head unit?

thank you.

Let me tell you how I installed my sub. I used the line level outputs from the factory deck to the factory amp and connected it to a Ground loop isolator and then to the sub amp. Works GREAT! Nice clean sound too. The high-low converters tend to work well at lower volumes but when you turn that dial it contains lot's of distortion and the bass feels more rumbly than when using the low level from the deck. Oh and forget about that post that the line levels are too weak. That's a load of poo. I used them with a Bazooka mono block 500W amp and there's plenty of power.
