Steering Wheel Vibration

I get a vibration in the steering wheel starting at 60mph up to about 65 mph. I have ruled out tire balance so now I'm thinking it's a wheel bearing. I see to replace the wheel bearing is a big job, much more than I want to attempt. I've replaced other bearings and they were very simple because the bearing came as an assembly with the hub, once the axle bolt is removed, remove the four bolts for the hub and the whole assembly comes out. My question is can you buy the wheel bearing and hub as an assembly? The bearing and hub kits on ebay show the parts separately, which would indicate they still have to be pressed into the hub. Is there any way to replace the hub assembly without removing the spindle from the car?

Probably not hubs/bearings. Worn hubs/bearings make a constant humming noise.

It's going to be...

Wheel balance
Worn tires
Axles/CV joints

Rotate the tires and see if it changes.

01acls is likely onto it.

But if you want to double check, however, you can get hubs that can be silent. Raise the car up off the ground and do the wheel shake. Grabbing it from top and bottom and trying to rock it, then do the sides. This would typically cover hubs, bearings, tie rods, and ball joints just in case. You can also typically (IN A SAFE PLACE) turn really hard kind of like a slalom back and forth and see if you can make a noise appear.

2002 CL 3.2S, 202,000+ miles.
I had a similar problem recently with extreme steering wheel shake / vibration.
The rotors had already been turned and were then at non-acceptable tolerance to machine further. I replaced brakes, which were needed, and rotors on all 4 wheels and that seemed to solve the heavy vibration.

If you get steering wheel vibration at high speeds without your foot on the brake pedal the most likely cause is a bad tire in the front.

I cant seem to diagnose the problem, new tires balanced and with an alignment, new rotors. there is no sound when I am driving thought it might be a cv joint but it doesn't have the 'clicking/clunking' sound like most people describe. starts around 60mph on a smooth highway I will shake the wheel enough to the right and left and when I do LEFT I feel like something is lose in the front driver side front end. I cant find any sort of play in the wheel either when I lift up that side

Bent wheel? Are they aftermarket wheels? Did you install hubcentric rings?

Worn front suspension components? How many miles has this been going on?
It could still be a bad tire even if they're new. Have you rotated them front to back to see if the symptoms change?

It could possibly worn front suspension components I just don't know what exactly, I am going to check again tonight after work. No I have not rotated them yet, its probably been about 10xxx miles now this has been a problem before I put new tires on so I am ruling out the tires

I snapped two axle within 4 days one axle snapped I believe the mechanic was having some fun in my car, couple days later it was wet out gave her some gas dropped the clutch and snap went the other one. I got one of them put in for no charge cause I told the shop manger how I felt about his guy driving my car and what he might have been doing for it to snap, so I just paid for the axle the other one was on me haha. the front end shaking is gone now the old axle were pretty rusted out
