H!i i Got an 03 CL-s 74,000k mile and it happen to me 99 TL too with over 200,000k miles , my question is that while im driving on the hight way if i lightly press on the gas there is a slightly kick is that normal?

and also my purge value is clicking kind of loud when the engine warn should i change it? and what is the little green cap next to the purge vaule say service port what is that? if got any ideal tip and how to fix my lilttle concern please help me thanks you....

 

wrong forum dude. that "kick back" might be a trans problem though;

 

Are you pressing on the gas after taking your foot off the pedal? If so, its normal. Probably has to do with the torque converter hooking back up with the trans or something like that.

As for the purge valve, you can replace it if you want but its only ticking. Nothing else will improve if you change it. Also make sure it's not your valves ticking. Not sure what the service port is for, probably the EVAC system.

 

yep i press the gas after taking my foot off the pedal... no the car run great no hard shift thru gear at all....

 

the 2nd gen cl had a lot of trans recalls, and issues.

 

yep and 01-03 TL too but so far so good
