basically, if you can get the map from your tuner, you can import that to your E-manage again, if ever it's acting up. But ofcourse if you added mods it has to be tune again...Unfortunely in my case I have a different cable port on my laptop and i don't have the upgraded version of the Greedy E-manage that's why i went to the tuner...
I haven't invested in the E-Manage tuning software and cable yet. My laptop only has USB and no serial port too. I've seen USB to Serial cables around and was thinking about giving that a shot.

As long as you are running Windows XP that will work, just let the USB-Serial driver load first.

Thanks - that's good to know. I'll order up the software and give it a shot.

Already answered in your thread. It's the voltage clamp. It's either improperly installed or not set to the correct voltage.

And if he's planning on installing E-Manage, he'll have to remove the ESM anyways.

first off, you have to fixed the misfiring problem first before you install the SC

i think 2.93v is about right on your ESM, so i dont think it's your ESM. check your TPS and other sensor, see if they're plugged-in wrong. Coilpacks are known to go bad. you can check them by unplugging the connection while the engine is running. Adjusting the valves aren't hard but time consuming, just make sure do not over tighten it. I'm pretty sure you know some of what i'm talking about...

I'm still convinced it is the ESM. It must not be soldered correctly.
