Hi Everyone -

I need my windshield replaced and recently found out that the current windshield was replaced before I had the car and really botched. This caused the rust along the windshield and the patch above it.

My question is this... what is the right way to repair this. I had one guy tell me they would use fiberglass to seal it once they grinded it down -- but that doesn't sound right to me.

This is the first time I am using a body shop, so need to know what to look/ask for. I would imagine the process would go something like this:
