Does anyone have any guide to locating and replacing the HID ballast for the 2nd Gen CL?

I'm intereseted in purchasing a kit to save $$ from having it replaced with an OEM from the dealer but not sure where the ballast is located.

Does the bumper need to be removed?

It's attached to the bottom of the headlight. Yes the bumper has to come off. If you want an aftermarket kit, there is some work to make it fit since the oem ballast covers a hole in the bottom of the headlight.
