No, no exhaust leak, but it sets you up for the future if you were to ever upgrade the rest of the exhaust. The header collector is 2.5", so having a 2.5" cat means you wont bottleneck there. Of course you'll then have to upgrade the rest of the piping to keep the free-flowing-ness going.
