rear wheel moves in and out while driving

i know thread title sucks...but this is my problem, today i was driving and i heard friction/ light grinding for about 10 seconds coming from my driver side rear wheel then it stopped. i looked at my side view mirror(little convex circle mirror) and noticed my tire and wheel was not riding right. looked as if it was wobbling. so i pulled over checked lug nuts and tire pressure, both fine. i kept my eyes on that wheel the whole way home and i could see the wheel moving in and out past the lip of the fender. i havent taken the wheel off yet but i did jack it up and everything felt safe and sound and nothing looked bent. what could this be? thank you

it is especially noticeable when turning, i dont know if its a tie rod or what but like i said everything feels very solid when i was tugging on parts.

Check all the bushings and joints. Spin the wheel while the car is jacked up and see what happens.

Said the nuts were tight.

But that's scary, man. Get it under a lift ASAP, try not to drive it if you can.

today i took the wheel off, and once again everything looks and feels very solid, no deteriorated bushings and nothing bent or loose. but i did take it for a test drive down the street and what i noticed this time and suspected before, its the camber that is changing, not the whole wheel. right now im set at 0 camber in rear, but even when i slooowly go over a speed bump or up a driveway or turn the wheel "dissapears" in my mirror and probably gets to about 3 to 5 degrees neg camber and returns right back to 0 when wheel is back on level ground.

im going to get an alignment tomorrow morning and see what the guy says.

im totally baffled by this!
